Aokigahara

Also known as the Suicide Forest. I was watching Destination Truth the other day and they visited this place in Japan. This place is located at the base of Mount Fuji and it is one of the most creepiest place on earth primarily because it is a popular location for suicides in Japan. It is said that those that want to commit suicide would camp there for a couple of nights before taking their life. The japanese gov't try to prevent these suicide by putting signs such as "Your life is precious dont throw it away" something like that and these signs are there in the entrance and there are more deeper in the forest, during the show the investigators saw 2 sign posts. they also found recently abandoned campsite and like i said before the owner prolly camp there several nights before taking their own life. they also found wallets and several cut up pics of individuals of those that took their life. Its definitely looked freaky even though i was only watching it.

Despite its reputation, Aokigahara is also a popular tourist destination but you dont want to wander off the wrong path cuz you can easily get lost or see something unsightly.
